Drying sterilised Medela breast pump!

I have the Medela hand pump and just started using it.
Been washing it up then sterilising in microwave.
The instructions say after sterilising you need to let it completely air dry before use.
Does anyone else have this pump? How do you do this?! It's been sat out for hours and still isn't dry!
Plus surely it isn't sterile anymore?

I want to follow the instructions but this is mad.
Help!

It doesn't have to be sterile, it has to have been sterilised, it's not the same thing. I'd just dry it with some kitchen roll or a clean tea towel. Dont worry
