Cows milk allergy

Hi all,

im waiting for an appointment with my gp but im concerned that my little one has had loose mucous stools for the last 2 weeks. I’ve been to the doctors once and was told it was due to him having a cold.

I’m starting to think it could be a cows milk allergy but he’s 8 months and never had any trouble before. any ideas what could be causing it?

Has their dairy intake increased?
Colds and teething both caused my daughters nappies to be identical to her allergy poos.

Many babies with cow's milk allergy actually grow out of it by 8-9 months, and almost all by 12 months, so it's unlikely to be that. It would have been clearer in the first few months.
