am changing from breast to bottle tomorrow and dont know what im doing.

im having to change and am going to use aptimil.ive been feeding him when he wants but cant do that with bottles or can i?can i still bf and bottle feed ?he weighs just under 15lb and i have no idea how many bottles i should even give him.he has been feeding when he needs it so each day is different?
Can anyone help me please.

RT - I think it's quite common for babies to dislike getting formula from their mother when they've been breastfed, so do try not to take it personally. If he does fuss, you can try another formula too - I mix fed dd after 6 months (badly wanted my periods to return!) and she hated Aptamil but liked SMA Gold. She took it from a sippy cup, which may be another option.

Yes I think Habbibu makes a good point. Why would he take it from you when he knows what you normally give him! That's brilliant that he took it from someone else. Keep trying with the bottle or friend or infant feeding consultant or whatever you can. He will eventually get the hang of it. Don't feel bad. It will happen eventually.
