6 month old waking every 2 hours

I EBF my baby along with solids now he’s 6 months. However I’ve recently found out I’m pregnant with my second baby. My baby used to wake every 4 hours at night but this has changed to every 2 hours since I became pregnant. It’s a struggle waking so much in the nights with the pregnancy tiredness and very rarely having time to nap during the day as he only has 20 minutes naps himself. Im not sure how much milk he gets as I don’t really pump my milk, but I know your milk supply can change when pregnant. I am now considering using a bottle of formula for his night feed to see if this helps him get a longer stretch of sleep at night, then breastfeed whenever he wakes after this. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what helped? I would also consider pumping milk for bed but will need to invest in a better pump as my current one isn’t the best. TIA x

You could try a bottle if that's what you want to to. It could be the PG but it could just be the 6 month sleep regression or even the introduction of solids.

How often is he feeding in the day and how often are you offering solids?
