Changing formula brands

My 4 week old DD has been on cow and gate prebiotic after the first week and hasn't had any problems untill the last couple of days. She suddenly seems to be really uncomfortable when having a poo. I don't think she's constipated as she's still having pretty much a poo a feed. I don't know whether it's worth trying her on a different formula but I am reluctant to start to mess with her feeding.
Do you think it could be caused by the formula and is it worth changing it?

have you tried giving her some fresh orange juice diluted with cool boiled water....i think its one ounce to every 9. that should help with her consipation

Most formula's will constipate lo's, it's just finding the one that is best for your dd.

Is is safe to give diluted oj to a 4wo? Am thinking not, but I could be wrong.

Agree re. Aptamil. DS was much better on this than any other formula.

Cooled boiled water is enough.

Even when starting on weaning, citric foods should be avoided.

Aptimil is supposed to be one of the better formulas for constipated babies

how can the baby be constipated though if she is pooing at every feed? I wouldnt give extra water or orange juice tbh. Your lo is maybe just finding the sensations of pooing a bit strange - they can put a lot of effort into it sometimes but as long as the poo is still soft they are not constipated.

Citrus fruits can be allergenic so not recommended for small babies. , water should be enough.
