Introducing formula to breastfed baby

Looking for advice on the best formula to give my exclusive breastfed baby for combination feeding? Also is it normal for their poo to be green when trying formula?

yeah their poo go's rather gross.I would mix a little ready made with pumped milk to get them used to the taste .Gradually replacing the breast milk.I found kendamilk best

They’re all basically the same, so pick the one which is cheapest/easiest for you to get. Yes when we started combination feeding our daughter’s poo got a lot worse!!! As above if they’re reluctant to drink the formula, mix with breast milk, starting mostly BM and gradually increase the amount of formula over a week or so until it’s all formula.

Totally agree. All formula in the UK has to adhere to very strict guidelines.

Despite what the marketing teams would have you believe no formula is better than another and none are "closer to BM".

I'd just get the one that's most easily available on your area. When the snow arrives you don't want to be using a formula that's only available on the internet or in a shop 10 miles away

Check what's in your local shop and buy that because when I was was ff my older children the worst thing was nearly running out and having to find somewhere that sold it, I used cow and gate but there isn't really any difference with them as far as I know
