Prepping Nutramigen when out and about

My 5 week old DS has been prescribed Nutramigen formula for a probable CMPA. As it’s prepared differently to normal formula, I’d love some advice on how to prep it when out and about.

In some ways it is easier than normal formula because you don’t use boiling water, so I can take bottles pre-filled with cooled bottled water out with me. However, I’m not sure whether I can take the formula out in little formula pots too because of the issue with sterilising those. I bought some formula pots and put them in our cold water steriliser, but then couldn’t get them dry afterwards. When I put formula in them it then of course stuck to the sides. I have seen people say that you don’t need to sterilise formula pots but this seems to be with regular formula, where the ‘hot shot’ would kill the bacteria. But there is no equivalent ‘hot shot’ used to prepare Nutrimigen. Does this mean the formula powder is sterile? So I could use washed but not sterilised formula pots which I’ve dried with a clean tea towel or kitchen roll? Or do I need to just take the tub it comes in out with me all the time?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can share their experience or provide advice.

Why not measure the powder into the (sterilised) bottles, and take separate containers of water? Doesn't matter if the powder sticks then because it will come off when mixed with the water.

No formula powder is sterile tbh
The pots will be no more sterile than the tub of formula so just keep them as clean as possible before using them

I also wouldn’t worry about a formula pot being sterile.
Just clean then, in steriliser if you like after, let them air dry on a clean tea towel. Once fully dry put the lids on ready to use

Then in your senario just fill several bottles with boiled water to the level needed and let go cold ready for use at home and outside. That way you always have cold boiled ready if the nutri milk can’t be mixed warm
