Hi

my one month old on apatmil (just formula feeding) has had loose stools for 3 weeks , constant wet darts and then the loose stools. Think she has reflux too, just wondering do these stools be normal for a newborn? Is it just her body getting use to the formula? Or does it look like something else? No mucus or blood noticed .

That’s what new born’s poos look like. Perfectly normal and will look like that for the foreseeable. No solid food means there’s nothing solid to come out.

Nothing to worry about.

The shiny bits are mucus. My new born DD’s had poo like that. They both had CMPA.
