Is it normal for your breasts to get really sore so late on in breastfeeding?
For the last 3 weeks my boobs have been heavy and sore, with more noticeable veins and my nipples feel like I've sand papered them! My baby has got teeth recently but the latch is good, but he has been a bit fussy whwn feeding. I wondered if my supply had dipped so with that and the sore boobs I did take 2 pregnancy tests just in case, although I haven't missed a period but both were negative.
I don't think it's thrush as suffered badly with previous baby so pretty sure I know the symptoms.
Think I just need a little reassurance that this is normal or not, at this late stage, as my baby is 13 months. 'm not looking forward to feeds because they are sore generally, though once I'm feeding it's not painful as such.
