Help?!

Baby is 4weeks old, been placed on Nutrimigen and omeprazole. He pumps like a trooper but you can tell he's in discomfort when it happens. He is reluctant to give wind up. He cries every time he feeds like he's in pain.
But doctors have said give the milk 3 weeks to settle in. I don't see an improvement at all and it's heart breaking seeing him cry so much!

Help? Anyone had anything similar at all?

I'm so sorry that you're struggling. Have you spoken to Allergy UK and have they referred you to a Paediatric Dietician?

How are you both this afternoon @Hdp24? Flowers

Hi,
Sorry, it's been a bit hectic!
We are booked in to see the paediatrician in a few weeks. What is allergy uk?
He was good last night, but then today and this evening he's back to the screams, being sick, but sucking up milk, phlegm and then water? We know he isn't right, but we know they won't accept anything from us until he's had this milk for the 4 weeks :( poor boy. Just wish I could take all the pain off of him.

If you press in the words Allergy UK ice out a link for you. They are a very well respected British charity and have a helpline Flowers

Thank you.
We went back to hospital, we've been changed to nutrimigen puramino now. Alongside gaviscon and the omeprazole.
He's had a good day today. Fingers crossed this is the start of him being a happy baby. I really hope it is.
