Need Help and suggestions

Hi, i stopped breast feeding my 8 month old yesterday. struggled a lot to bottle feed him on and off fot the last 3 months but no luck. finally, i thought enough is enough...stopped it yesterday. he is eating well but has had only 4oz of milk since yesterday.

my boobs are killing me....any suggestions to what may help soothe them and I feel so awful...when he looks at me and cries for a feed.
i feel such a bad mum...even after breast feeding for 8 months.

thanks for the reply and i did take a nice bath which really helped atleast for that time. they are again so sore...cant even touch them. Too many sleepless nights....he used to get up evry hour just to lie on the breast or keep on drinking it fot hours and then when i put him in the cot...used to get up that very minute.Also i get back to work next month and thought i will get somewhere with bottle feed if i stopped breast feeding him. no luck with bottle feeding as yet...though he is sleeping since 3 hours..
anyhow..thanks again. will take some neurofen.

I thought I will wean him slowly, but he is too stubborn to take milk from bottle of even a cup. though he drinks water from a cup. boobs are feeling much better after neurofen and he again had 2 ounces...so hopefully we will get the feed established in a few days. thanks for the replies
