My baby is nearly 3 months old, usual routine would be feed around 8pm baby would then fall asleep annd not wake for a feed until about 1:30/2, then will fall back asleep until 6/7am.
In hopes (selfishly) to try move the longest stretch of sleep along a bit to benefit my sleep I have started waking him at 11:30/midnight to give a feed/dream feed, which has meant he sleeps until 6/6:30 which has been great for me and baby seems happy with it too (no crying or fussing will take the bottle and fall back asleep)
However is this cruel of me? I do feel bad waking him and interrupting his sleep to feed earlier but I feel so much better getting a full 5/6 hours rather than a broken nights sleep :(
And if continuing this is okay…when will I know to drop the 1130/midnight feed ? When he is sleeping longer stretches ?
