3 week growth spurt?

My DD is 4 weeks today. [I'm so proud ]

For over a week now I've been expecting a time when she'd go mad feeding all the time as part of her growth spurt.

One day I think she seemed to be feeding a little bit more than usual, but I can't say for certain. She seems to be getting much better at feeding, so she's more efficient at getting milk, so I can't say from time taken to feed that she's had more.

In the last week she has definitely grown a lot. So I can see a growth spurt in her size and the fact that she no longer fits her newborn babygros, but haven't noticed it much in extra feeding.

I'm right not to worry right? She's had her growth spurt, hasn't she?

I haven't seen the HV for a while so I don't know what she weighs now. I just read in an NCT book that it's not a good idea to worry too much about how much BF babies weigh so I haven't bothered too much about that.

Thanks Starlight, you're right.

I'm trying really hard not to get het up about what "should" be happening but even before I had her I heard so much about this 3-week growth spurt and how much of a nightmare it would be; I had my loins fair girded for it, and then it never happened.

They have one at about three weeks, one at about 7 and one at about 12.
