Moving up teat size

Hello would like some advice on moving baby up a teat size. I have been using size 1 slow flow tommee tippee teats for DD who is 10 weeks old. I thought it was time to move up as she has been getting fussy during feeds and taking a long time to even take a couple oz and sometimes falling asleep after a small amount. I changed to size 2 today and she finished 5oz in about 10 minutes - had a couple coughs but she also sometimes coughed with size 1. There was a little bit of overflow milk coming out her mouth but not loads. I'm just wondering if babies need to adjust/get used to the new flow of milk and if I should keep using the size 2 so she can get used to it or if it still seems too fast for her at the moment? TIA x

I'd keep going with it so long as she seems comfortable and you're not getting loads of overflow. I think a little overflow is normal as they adapt.

@Sapphire387 thank you ☺️ have kept going with the size 2s and she seems to be getting used to it already
