How many bottles/tests for bottle feeding?

We’ll be bottle feeding from birth. How many teets/bottles do we need? Looking at packs like minbie they only have two teets of each size etc.

Depends how organised you are; 6 works for us with two lots of washing and sterilising each day. Sometimes we get caught short without a clean bottle though! Especially in the morning!

6 would probably be the minimum and you'd need to be on top of the washing up in the early days.

I wouldn't start with 6 of the same brand though as you or baby might not get on with them. With my daughter I had all tommee tippee and although she drank from them fine they were a bit fiddly and annoying and I'd probably have swapped them if I hadn't spent so much getting a full set.

DS is mostly breast fed but has needed some formula top ups. He's rejected all the expensive 'just like the breast' bottles and only drinks out of the supermarket cheapest 3 for £3 bottles.

So maybe get a few different pairs of bottles and then buy more once you know what works.

Thanks @sugarplum33 thats useful to know as I was thinking about something like the minbie ones but they are expensive to buy enough to get 6 if not going to be used
