BABY DROPPING CENTILES
Background: baby was born at 34 weeks, now 18 weeks but 12 weeks ‘corrected’ - he has been on thickened reflux milk for silent reflux ( he’s never sick )
He used to guzzle his milk, but for the past 4 weeks he could take it or leave it, he does around 20oz in 17 hours, he sleeps for 7 hours at night and he won’t accept dream feeds.
Symptoms:
Sometimes seems uncomfortable on bottle
Won’t take the bottle sometimes
Watery poo
GP isn’t helping me, I’ve queried CMPA. I’m worried he’s dropped 2 centiles.
Between feeds he is the most happy and content baby, progressing in every other aspect!
Anyone had babies that dropped centiles but ended up happy toddlers, I’m worried about his future.
