TH is 5.5 months old and has started taking solids but she will not take milk or water from a bottle or cup. I need to go back to work soon and have tried everything but she still wants a BF after every meal and in between. she will not even take expressed milk. please help.

I'm afraid I've no answer, just wanted to sympathise - I'm in same situation. He has got more interested in bottle since I've been giving him solids like a stick of cucumber to suck, who knows - maybe he'll surprise me! I've wondered about using lots of thin, milky foods like baby rice & porridge, maybe yoghurts/fromage frais, but don't know yet how this'll work. hope things work out

Thanks, it's nice to know i'm not the only one going through this. She doed chew on the bottle teat and the cup but just wont drink and as soon as I try FF in it as soon as she gets a taste of it she starts screaming. She eats baby rice but only when it is made with water. If I make it with EBM or FF she wont touch it. The HV's are no help either, they just say I have to keep trying. I just hope that maybe she will just start taking it all of a sudden. you never know.
