Little man is 5.5 months now and has always been one for finishing his bottles. But lately he is very unpredictable!

He's just getting over a cold so it might still be that but he used to average 8oz per bottle every feed. This morning he had 6oz, at 11am 8.5oz and just now 5.5oz. He pushed the last bottle away initially but took it after I took it away for a few seconds. It's just so unlike him.

I know babies are up and down with their feeds but I'm so used to him finishing his bottles (or only leaving 1/2oz or so) so when he only takes 5/6, it leaves me to worry a bit 😩

Is anyone else's baby similar? I just want him to go back to drinking consistently! It stresses me out

They do like to throw these little curve balls don't they? Wink

In all probability it's the tail end of the cold.

You could try giving him a dose of Ibruprofen to see if that perks him up Flowers
