EBF - colic

My son is 16 weeks tomorrow and EBF he's always had really bad wind but screams in pain with before he passes it. Can be inconsolable at times and can be very unsettled at night. Wakes every 2 hours currently but generally to feed to pass more wind 😔 I've tired every colic product and nothing seems to work. He has better days then can be awful again and my diet hasn't changed? Anyone got any suggestions- GP won't do anything until he's 5 months

My daughter had a nightmare of colic at about that age. The only thing that stopped the crying was walking up and down the stairs singing The Grand Old Duke of York. I was crying myself on many occasions. It did stop, although she wasn't a great sleeper until she was two.

Have you looked at your diet? I found particular things I ate gave her wind. Another friend had to give up dairy whilst bf.

Hi, the only thing that calms him is the hair dryer 🤦‍♀️ and being in a sling. He's a lot heavier than my daughter though, so it's much harder physically! Yes, I have with my diet. I find if I have anything spicy it upsets him more however, I've had stuff and it hasn't. So I'm at a loss as to what to do
