Hipp organic v cow & gate

Hi, hoping to get a little advice here as I don't know what my next step should be....

My 6 month old has been on cow & gate since birth, was all going well up until around 10 weeks old when she started refusing her bottles. She had signs of a tongue tie so I took her to a specialist and I was correct, she had a tongue tie and a procedure took place.

The bottle refusal continued so I changed her formula to the Hipp organic as I had heard good things and also changed to making her bottles with bottled water as recommended by PHN.

She took to the Hipp well and bottle refusal stopped but her poos changed and she was straining, crying etc (not constipated) so I decided to go back to the C&G after two weeks but kept using the bottle water as I thought the might have been the issue....

She is back refusing her bottles again but her poos are back to normal so it's the C&G she dislikes but where do I go from here?

Could you try the Hipp Comfort milk and see if her pops are ok on that one?

The hipp comfort doesn't seem to be available in any of my local supermarkets but while I was looking for that I noticed the Hipp follow on milk and she is six months now. It says it has more iron so I might try that and hopefully I can resolve the issue. Thanks so much.

Just warning you that the added iron might have the opposite affect. Too much iron may cause constipation and reduced appetite but if she's 6 months you'll probably be offering water alongside food and you can always offer some foods either a high water content Wink
