Breast pump recommendations

Hi all
I have the electric MAM pump for use at home. However I am going to an event without my baby which will be all day. I will need to pump whilst I’m out as last time I did this my boobs were so full and painful. Does anyone know of a small and compact manual pump that would be small enough to fit in a handbag?

Hello, sorry I can’t help with your question. But please could I ask how you’re finding the mam electric pump? My current pump is too top heavy and every time I lean forward it wants to fall out of my bra, it’s also super bulky so struggle to hold DS whilst wearing it. Sorry to jump on your post but hoping you can help

Hi!
ive only tried this one and the Mandela one that isn’t cordless so I have nothing to compare it to. I would say it is bulky, like you couldn’t wear it outside or anything like that. It doesn’t fall out my bra but a couple of times it has leaked when I’ve bent too far forward but I think they pretty much all do this from what I’ve read. I like the pump much better than the one I had before and I’ve found I get more milk using this one. Also it stopped charging properly after a couple of months so I contacted mam directly even though I bought it from John Lewis and they sent me out a brand new one next day and I didn’t even send the old one back which I think is pretty good customer service x
