Hi there, looking for some advice about feeding my little one.
My little boy has CMPA and had been on special formula (alfamino)since I stopped breastfeeding around 7 months. He's coming up to a year now and I understand I'm supposed to stop the formula at 12 months and replace it with another milk?
Just wondering which milk I should be giving him - is there a special oat milk for babies or kids? I understand he's supposed to be getting all his nutrition from his food then, just wondering which milk I should give him in a bottle/sippy cup?
Thanks in advance.

Ask your community dietician ….you should have your appt to discuss the milk ladder round about 11 months

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I live outside of the UK and our health care isn't as thorough as the NHS. I am on the waiting list for a paed dietician apt but there's no guarentee. Was just hoping some other mums could point me in the right direction.

Alpro toddler oat milk. Mine has the soya one but I think the oat one has a monkey on the carton. It's fortified with vitamins and iron so it's better than your normal oat milk. Obviously if they sell it where you are that is

Mine went on to Barista oat milk to get the higher fat content than normal oat milk.

Thank you for all the replies, very helpful. I will try the alpro toddler oat milk, I have seen it in the shops here. My baby is a preemie and is doing great but I think he needs to eat a little more before we take him off his formula. Got 2 months to introduce more solid food. He gags alot when eating so he is still on the very smooth foods, but we will keep trying. Thank again
