Hi - wondering if anyone can advise. My LO, who is nearly 6 mths and has been b/f, has been waking up more and more often at night. At the moment I feed her at approx 7, 10.30/11, 1.30/2, 4.30/5. Far too often with a toddler in the house as well I;ve just started solids but that hasn't made much diference. She has also been co-sleeping a lot, which began as it was the only way I could cope (my DH works away and we have no family support) and whilst I love her being close I wonder whether I have created that old rod for my back as she is waking up becasue she can. It's just so hard to find the energy to wake up properly that many times a night.....

So, I'm considering introducing a bottle of formula at the 10.30 feed (which my DH would be abe to do when he is here). My question is, do you think that it would create a longer gap between wakings? Would be very interested to hear any experiences - thanks

Babies are all different.

I did it and it made a difference, although not a massive one. I have heard other stories on here that say it worked for them and the baby slept through.

Try it!
