Breast milk to formula

My baby is 10 days old and EBF. Today I introduced 2 formula feeds as I am beginning to wean off breast milk. After the formula feeds my baby has been spitting up a lot of milk. He has never spat up before with breast milk. Is this common? I am using kendamil.

How much formula are they having? If you've been BFing so far, their tummies will be tiny.

He’s just had 70ml feeds, then continued with BF on demand for the rest of the day

So at 10 days it's the size of a golf ball so only can take around 2floz.

It could be the Kendamil then. There's lots of threads in here about it not suiting some babies. If you do swap I wouldn't try Aptamil as that can be the same.
