My baby is two weeks old. We started her off on mam bottles, everything was good until she started gulping milk, this meant she was sucking the teat flat, and that would stop milk flow and she would start crying. Tried the next teat up and that was too fast. Switched to tommee tippee, all good initially until she started doing the same, she somehow manages to gulp air from them and starts screaming. Seems like tommee tippee level 1 teat is too fast for her. Showed the midwife and she said we are feeding her correctly and her overly sucking is just "one of those things". Seeing her hungry but unable to steadily drink is heartbreaking. Anyone have similar issue? Any other bottle recommendations? I am so desperate. Thank you

Was going to suggest the Mam anti-colic, is that the one you started off with?

If the MW has checked your feeding, has she also checked for Tongue Tie?

And I'm sure you'll be doing this already but are you doing pace feeding?

Hiya I've tried pace feeding, and mw didn't say anything about tongue tie? Tried mam normal and anti colic :-/ x

What about trying something like a nuk bottle? Maybe the different shaped teat might help? You can get them in boots or on amazon.

Try the tommee tippee vari-flow teat. It only gives according to the baby's suck
