Fussy bottle feeder!

My little boy is 15 weeks and up until about 10 weeks old, we never had a problem feeding him.

5 weeks ago he started being really fussy with his bottle. He was fighting it but isn't so much now. He's just very wiggly and squirmy which makes feeds really hard work!

It's baffling me because he will go 3/4 days feeding perfectly, not a problem, then will start being awkward again. Turning his head, pushing the bottle away with his hands (but still sucking) and this morning started to blow the milk back at me from the sides of the teat!

I don't think it's the teat size as he can feed perfectly for a few days at a time.

Other than that he is brilliant in every other way.

I thought silent reflux but the doctor didn't want to know. The only thing I can think is teething or it's just an age thing.

Has anyone else experienced this? Will I ever go back to having a baby that's easy to feed?! He's supposedly 2 weeks into leap 4 but this has been going on 5 weeks, surely it can't go on any longer!

I feed with the TV off and curtains shut but he's still hardwork sometimes!

Help please!

If you suspect a touch of reflux I would try a thickener in his milk to see if that helps. You can get gaviscon in prescription or there is carobel, thick'n'easy and magic mix that you can buy over the counter.
Teething can make reflux worse so it might be that the reflux is tolerable when there isn't teething symptoms and a little help is needed when teething
