sterilised breast pump question

sterilised pump to get a few oz, now need to wait a few hours to get some more after a breastfeed in between, maybe 3 hours. is it ok to leave the bottle with milk in and go back to it or put that bottle straight in the fridge and do the next few oz in a fresh bottle then mix when time to use it? also if i do put on a fresh bottle do i need to resterilise the whole pump again or will just a fresh bottle be enough?

No idea, but what i do is have a sterilised bottle in fridge and keep adding to the "stock" of milk unil I use it in the evening. i leave the pump+milk in fridge after expressing so it chills (avoiding mixing warm with cool milk) and then transfer chilled milk to stock in bottle before next expressing. if I have time i sterilise pump+collection bottle in between but if no time i figure it is ok for few hours in the fridge.
