Hi

baby boy has been on Nutrimigen for 3 days and has all of a sudden got terrible nappy rash. He is pooing more but he gets changed straight away, must be going through 10-12 nappies a day, use pampers, have tried sudocrem, metanium and frozen breast milk.

anyone else experience this?

Are you dairy free for breast milk? If so nutramagin is only hydrolysed so still has dairy in it. If you need a dairy free formula my understanding is that you need neocate or something similar which is completely dairy free.

Yeah, I think he will need dairy free. We trialled pepti and now this, making us jump through hoops to get to Neocate!!

There seems to be quite a lot of information on line if you google

Nutrimigen and nappy rash.

it’s because Nutrimigen is more acidic.
