HIPP Organic Reviews

In the throes of post partum anxiety and hoping for some reassurance as ftm 🥹. Currently combi feeding with nipple shields (poor latch) but he's already 9lb 7oz at 3 weeks and me myself have been unable to satisfy his needs (supply issues).

Turned to formula shortly after a traumatic birth and emergency section so LO now on hipp organic after not tolerating aptamil. Concerned though about the low iron in hipp organic (lowest of all infant formula). I know that iron is essential for brain growth and typical development. Our family history puts him at risk of some speech and language conditions which I can't change but dont want things to be anymore challenging for him than they need to be.

Just looking for reassurance from mums whose babies were on HIPP organic that things turned out okay for their little ones before I contemplate kendamil as alternative. Concerned that the lower iron could be a risk factor for ASD, ADHD etc if it interferes with how his brain develops, which would in no way affect our love for him but if I can avoid making his life more challenging than it needs to be I'd do anything to do that.

Thanks xx

Thank you. Did you give any additional supplements?

ADHD and ASD are genetic conditions and are not brought about by diet.

All formulas have to fit to certain guidelines so they all contain the necessary levels to support your child's development. And actually too much iron can be harmful as it can inhibit appetite leading to slow growth and in rare cases can limit brain development l

I gave this to ds2 23 years ago (after 3 months bf). He's totally fine, no health issues
