Hi has anyone actually do the re challenge and been able to get there child back in dairy. Starting the challenge today and I'm not 100%. If my baby has an allergy or not. He's currently almost 4 months and been on a dairy free formula since quite a young age due to sick and crying. He is also on meds for reflux and has a tongue tie so I'm not sure if that is what was causing the vomiting early on not dairy.
Thanks Amy

I'm not sure that Tongue Tie causes vomiting? It's not mentioned in this list of symptoms

I do agree though that it can be very difficult to work out what can be causing the symptoms.

How are you getting in with the reintroduction?

@CadyEastman I've seen a lot of people with sickness with tongue tie due to them taking in more air. Introduction going well he will be in 1 full bottle as of tomorrow and so far he's had no obvious symptoms so keeping my fingers crossed x

It can be really successful, or not. Every baby is different and will or won’t outgrow the intolerance at their own pace.
Go slowly with it and monitor for any symptoms, if a symptom shows, stop for a few days/week, and try again from the bottom of the ladder, even more slowly.
It’s easier to monitor if an actual intolerance is showing or another illness/teething etc.
Health visitor can offer weaning support if needed.
