I know its easier said than done but Be wary of comparisons you can drive yourself crazy

I have a friend who said little one was sleeping through the night at 2 weeks.

Further questioning revealed that she was staying up for last feed at 1.30am and then baby was back up at 5am.

Ah belstaff I do confess that dd2 has her late 8-9 at night feed from a bottle because I found that by the end of the night she is too tired to suck to get a good long feed to fill her up and was waking every 1/2hr to feed again. I give her 2-3 oz of EBM now because she finds it easier to suck from the bottle. Luckily it hasn't affected bf during the day, no nipple confusion.

oh and starting solids did absolutely nothing to improves DD2s sleep and she ate a lot during the day so thats a myth as well

Now have told DD3 (not yet born) to sleep like DD1 and eat like DD2 and we will get on fine

No ff doesnt mean babies sleep thru. You only have to read any parenting forum to see that . Babies sleep for longer periods when they are ready. My DS was excl bf & went 8 hours for over half his nights from about 8 weeks apart from when he was ill or teething or gaving a growth spurt. I don't expect the next baby to be as easy....but will be hoping

I am bf, and DD slept last night from 10-6 (first time ever!!) Have to say though, I would rather she had done her normal routine of waking at 4am for a feed, as then we would both have gone back to bed until 9am, rather than being awake now (with no signs of tiredness)
