Hello everyone!
FTM here having quite a tough time with breast feeding recently :((

For the past week my LO who is EBF has become increasingly more fussy during feeds. Initially I noticed she was only fussy during evening feeds when I could tell she was overtired but for the last 2 days it has been during every feed. She will latch and then unlatch constantly, cry and grab the breast while squirming.

I’ve also noticed her latch getting worse especially with my left breast which has left me with a lot of nipple pain- I’ve tried to improve her latch but because she has been so fussy while feeding it’s very difficult.

She has been producing plenty of wet and dirty nappies and as of now I’m not concerned regarding weight. My milk supply has been good- I initially suspected maybe I had fast let down but even during the end of a feed there will be loads of fussing.

I’m wondering whether it could be reflux, my LO does spit up occasionally after feeds and often gets hiccups but does not seem distressed by either when it happens. She does sometimes cough and sneeze. She has no problem sleeping on her back.

She has been quite unsettled recently, crying more than usual :(((

Thank you in advance for all your advice - would really appreciate the any reassurance

@Turquoisedream I'm so sorry that you haven't had any response to this. How are you both doing now? Flowers
