I seem to be having a problem with right breast, it is very very sore and has a solid huge lump at the bottom. Have been in hot bath, cabbage leaf in bra, expressed, etc. I had implants ages ago and my dr assures me that they wont interfere as are under muscle, but they did go in thru nipple...Can express or feed fine, but the lumpy bottom is AGONY. Is this normal? When does it go away? What canI do? (The whole thing is painful, but the lumpy bits are owwwww)

I don't know much about it but is the area round the lump red? Could you have thrush/mastitis? I would recommend contacting your MW.

Not red. Just lumpy. Thinking it's blocked ducts, maybe my bra is the problem. Dont think the bra fitter could have predicted the enormity of increase!

Turtle,I would phone one of helplines.Could be mastitis.I don't know much about it myself but it does nOT mean that you have to stop.

try to massage/stroke the lump whilst dangle feeding.

Went to BF clinic to sort it out and it turns out LO is tongue-tied...that's why he's not getting some of it. Good to know. He's getting the snip on Thursday. Poor little man.

I'd forgotten about toungue-tie turtle. I'd never heard of it at all til I joined the PN thread on here last year. (Amazing what you learn on MNet!)
