Any other mums here whos DC twiddles whilst feeding? Does anyone allow their DC to twiddle or do you try and distract them by wearing something like a nursing necklace?

dd would if i let her, but i don't. she twiddles my engagement ring on my finger instead

sometimes twiddles, sometimes pushes my nipple in (he's just discovered buttons on his toys)
I just make sure his nails are short

DD used to pinch my neck/boobs while feeding - afaik we didn't have things like nursing necklaces back then. I used to try giving her a little soft doll to hold, but she always preferred my skin. I think it would be worth trying to get her to transfer to something else, because she is 18 now & the skin twiddling is obviously still a source of comfort to her, (though she doesn't use my boobs anymore!) - she was 18 last month & she is currently watching TV on a beanbag, sucking her thumb & twidddling the loose skin on her knuckles, which is now very rough & red. She does it more when she is stressed - she's currently doing A levels - but it's going to be a very hard thing to stop.

I will let ds have a quick twiddle from time to time. If I don't want him to twiddle I cover up my other boob and use the necklace.
