Nuby Rapid cool help!

Hi all,

I've just bought the Nuby Rapid cool. Only bought the single kit containing one flask and not two.

Just had a few questions,

If I am out and wanted to make formula, do I take another flask with me containing boiled water from the kettle, is it ok to then add this water to the Nuby and then add the formula or does it have to be freshly boiled water straight from the kettle into the Nuby.

I hope this question makes sense

Thanks in advance!

I only have one rapid cool and use a flask of boiling water or if I’m in a restaurant/ cafe then I ask for boiling water. I used this technique with my now toddler and she was fine with the milk. You just need to make sure it is still boiling water.

I take a flask out with me and do exactly as you described! For peace of mind I bought a flask on the more expensive side (thermos brand) and it keeps the water boiling for 12 hours. I actually use the flask for every feed and refill it every morning and night to save waiting for the kettle to boil every time.

If you wanted to test a flask for yourself you could use a food thermometer and test the water temp after however many hours to check it’s still 70 degrees.

But yes, I pour the hot water into the bottle first (to measure) pour it into the rapid cool, add formula, shake, when it goes from amber to green pour into bottle and ready to go!

You could also use the hot shot method so you could reuse the rapid cool when you’re out and about but I won’t confuse you with those instructions!
