Breast milk supply not normalizing

We've had a difficult start to our breastfeeding journey but starting to feel like we have the hang of it.

However, one thing is making me still worried (and I have a lot of anxiety around feeding!) is that both of my breasts still get really hard overnight

Baby is 11 weeks and I thought my supply would have normalized by now but no. Concerned that baby is taking less and less each day (had tongue tie and poor weight gain to start), but had her weighed last week and gain seems ok. She isn't lethargic in herself and does plenty of wet nappies. Poos have slowed, but she is still going and I understand that is normal.

At the moment she will only latch onto my right breast. I'm pumping the left only and feeding from right, but even my left breast gets solid overnight?

Could I just have an oversupply? Googling hasn't really highlighted much

Oversupply is possible yes. In that case the normalising process happens later.

Oversupply seems to be linked strangely with tongue tie and poor milk transfer. Have you seen anyone for a proper feeding assessment ie they observe a full feed?

Thanks @BertieBotts

Yes I've seen two different lactation consultants who observed a feed, one of which diagnosed the tongue tie and cut it. I've also been to multiple infant feeding clinics in my area.

The tongue tie was cut about five weeks ago now.

I had it reassessed last week at the infant feeding clinic and they said it hadn't come back (by someone else). Im waiting until six weeks post snip to have it assessed by the same lactation consultant as she won't be able to snip it before then and I can't afford multiple appointments 🙁

I just find it odd that it's also in my left breast too which I'm pumping, albeit to a lesser extent...

It's so frustrating that proper support isn't available on the NHS.

This is something I saw on FB a while back which looks at a link between tongue tie, oversupply and reflux (maybe silent?)

I don't know a lot about oversupply unfortunately other than this, just that it can cause that "filling up/staying hard between feeds" to last until around 6-9 months rather than 3-4 months. I read that on Kellymom, maybe they have some useful info about it.
