I have been offered to go on a course to become a breastfeeding supporter which would ultimaltly involve me support newly discharged mums and babes bfing and also be available to other mums who are bfing for support.
I havent acutally taken the information yet (will do next week) but wondered if anyone here does this yet and how many hours a week on average, is this paid work or voluntary, do i leave my baby in a creche when visiting mums. Sorry if stupid questions but trying to weigh up whether this is something i will want to do this time round (dswill be 6 months when training) or whether to leave till another time. Have chosen not to return to nursing atm for the fact that i want ot be a SAHM and we are planning ttc for baby no 3 after december.
