TTC breastfeeding

Hi all. I’m still bf my 1 year old just at night. I’ve sadly had a chemical pregnancy this month am wondering if bf could be part of it as had read varying things about bf and progesterone levels. Does anyone have experience of ttc whilst feeding? I don’t really want to stop ideally until 15 months was my plan. Thanks

I was still bf when I got pregnant everything went smoothly so I'm no real help 🙂

I couldn’t conceive at all whilst breastfeeding. In the end, I gave up BF at 2.9 and DS2 was conceived the next month. There is a 3.5 year age gap between them (currently 11 and 7) and it’s perfect, I would really recommend waiting.

Thanks both @ProfessorPeppy I have low ovarian reserve and approaching 38 so unfortunately can’t wait too long. Thanks for your advice x

I was breastfeeding when conceived my second - 1st was about 2 so not exclusive!

I was still bf my 1 year old when fell pregnant with #2.
In fact the thing that prompted me to do a test was the painful breastfeeding randomly starting! I stopped feeding at 14 months.
