1 year old clamping on nipple

My 13 month old is teething atm (I'm sure 6 are cutting together) and he's really giving me uncomfortable feeds. No matter what position I try and change into, he keeps clamping on my nipples. He either latches to hard, not quite to a bite but like he's grazing on my nipple, especially when he unlatches because he yanks hismelf off grazing my nipple with his teeth. When he is unlatched I can see teeth indentation on my nipples. I unlatch him, and say "no" firmly. But it doesn't seem to be making the slight difference. I'd hate for this to be the end of our breastfeeding no journey (so please refrain from advising me to stop as that's not what this post is for). Anyone have any tips? If he's had calpol or not it doesn't seem to be making a difference to the latch, he just seems to be using me as a teething toy!!

This is when I stopped feeding, when he bit me and laughed ! So no tips I’m afraid.

@DustyLee123 ahh no! I never had this with my first, I think I recall he bit me once but that was it. But this uncomfortable feeding experience has been pretty much present for about 2 weeks now

I stopped the feed if DD hurt me. The first time within a feed I would unlatch her and say 'you're hurting mummy'. I'd put her back on and if she hurt me again after a short amount of time I would end the feed. It only took a few times to sort the issue out. I fed until 23m.
