Baby weaning - sleepless nights returned

We have a 7.5 month old baby. We have been weaning since 6 months. We decided to go down the BLW route mainly for convenience. We have been giving him eggs, cooked vegetables (carrots , broccoli etc), banana, homemade pancakes etc. however the last few weeks he’s literally been up every two hours all night with lots of gas and pooping. It’s like he has suddenly got colic. The last few has I’ve cut right back on the weaning food (breastmilk as normal). Yesterday I just gave him some cooked apple no skin.

Any advice? Will it pass? The lack of sleep is killing me! 😭

It's fine to not offer any food for a couple of days and then reintroduce if you want to give his gut a little time to recover.
