Weaning off infacol

DS2 now 15 weeks was VERY windy and colicky from birth and we have used infacol among other things with great success. He is now starting to bring his wind up more easily and I wondered if I should start weaning him off infacol but am frightened of going back to the dark days of trapped wind . Also, do I wean him off slowly, say one feed a day and build up gradually or go cold turkey or am I just building this up into something it needn't be!!!! Could anyone else who has been in the same situation advise please.

Hi, we used Infacol til DS was about 4 months (like you, didn't want to quit too early and have the colic come back!).

I started just giving it every other feed, for a few days, then just once or twice a day, then dropped it altogether within a couple of weeks.
