Low supply in one side?

Hi sorry EBF for the first time to my 3 week old, I noticed she prefers one boob and it’s the boob that leaks way more and I think has faster flow

i tried to pump earlier (momcozy s12 pro) and got 3oz but had put the pump on each boob over 30-45 mins? So not much :(

im really worried I have a low supply now and I have the pump back on the other boob and nothings coming out? Is this why she’s feeding so much do I not have enough???

ps I want to pump so DH can give a bottle or two a day. I’m exhausted being woke every hour to feed nearly 2 hours sometimes and it’s affecting me mentally so he said he’d be happy to help if I felt comfortable. I’d like to pump the milk if I can

Awh don’t worry - pumps aren’t as efficient as babies. Some people can’t pump a drop and successfully breastfeed!

it’s still very early days so your supply is still establishing itself. Would you consider formula if you need a break? I started out giving formula once or twice a day but now able to pump sufficiently to have a bottle of breastmilk every day (in just 2 10-15min pumps- 40 mins in each side sounds like a nightmare on top of feeding!) and from the breast the rest of the time.

make sure u are drinking. Plenty of water and be kind to yourself you are doing great!
