Switching to formula at 4months

My DD has been EBF. my supply is definitely dropping fast, particularly in the evenings, and she can get very upset and frustrated. Now that I’ve started to give her a bottle at bedtime, she is becoming frustrated at other feeds, presumably by the slow flow when from the boob. In addition to this, for the bedtime bottle it isn’t sustainable that I pump for it , I hardly get anything out, so have always thought I’d switch to formula soon for that feed. Now thinking I’ll be doing a full switch to formula in the next few weeks

question is therefore - how did you find the switch to formula at this point? Were there any digestion issues or rejection issues?

secondly, just looking for some
reassurance that it’s okay as I’m feeling so guilty in stopping the breastfeeding, but I just know I’m not the kind of person that can be hooked up to a pump all day to express the feeds and be happy (massive respect to those that can manage that!)

Of course it’s ok! A full baby is a happy baby.
Just swap one feed for a bottle for a couple of days, then another, then another.
