I mean, Shrek the Third, what's that all about?

Blardy marrow-bottles?

Where do they get the formula from?

I know she's got triplets and all but it's just not a very good message to your average monster, is it?

not seen it mb
ogre tit would mean an 18 rating, probably

terramum · 19/03/2008 11:50

I've not seen it either...but I remember when it came out there was some discussion on yahoo list I'm on...

Maybe ogre boobs aren't functional/only there for sexual purposes?

And how do you sterilise a marrow? Puhleese...

I saw this at Christmas and though the same thing

but I thought it would be really geeky to post about it

On a better, if weirder, note, DH and I watched a very trashy action flick called Shoot 'Em Up where the hero rescued an orphaned newborn from a firefight and, rather than popping to a drugstore for formula and bottles, took him to a lactating prostitute...

MonkeybirdisboredWITHbuns · 19/03/2008 21:11

Hey MrsB, shame and geekiness never stopped me making an arse of myself.

MonkeybirdisboredWITHbuns · 19/03/2008 21:12

No but, yeah but, I just had to do a double take and read the last bit of your post again.

That is EXCELLENT. Let's tell the NCT...

Are ogres mammals?

tribpot · 20/03/2008 06:31

Yes, it didn't look like the Shrek babies were having a milk-substitute, it looked more like crushed eyeballs or similar! ("Actually it's quite good on toast") So perhaps ogre babies don't have a milk phase.

MrsBadger · 20/03/2008 14:04

how come Fiona has such a mahoosive cleavage then?

(I will admit when it became apparent it was triplets I was expecting her to reveal a third nipple)

tribpot · 20/03/2008 17:36

Well yes but one could argue: how was it possible for Donkey and Dragon to reproduce? I think we may have to accept that the biological principles that apply in our world (boobies=mammals, for example) may not be the same in the Shrek universe.

Plus (and I feel I may have given this too much thought), Fiona isn't strictly an ogre but a human cursed to be an ogre. A half-frog human to boot.

MonkeybirdisboredWITHbuns · 20/03/2008 17:42

That is true actually. The half frog bit. So what do baby frogs do then, being amphibians? Bet they don't have bleeding marrow bottles either.
