Baby is 11.5 months. I know 12 months transition to full fat cows milk. Never been a big fan of milk as soon as started weaning so on 3 meals and snacks and water during the day. Never wanted milk when wakes up. Currently has cows milk in breakfast then 7oz formula at bed time. I worry he isn’t getting enough milk even though health visitor said it’s fine so I give him a bottle during the night to up his milk intake. Also give multivitamins a day.

i want to start night weaning but my worry is when we move onto cows milk he will only have 1 bottle then at night time and then in his food. Also gets cheese and yoghurts (dairy) in his diet.

At what age can they stop bottles or drinking milk as I think will be a lot sooner for him

If he's having cheese and yoghurt, he has a good varied diet and is well hydrated, I wouldn't worry about him drinking milk.

After around age 1 none of mine has much milk. One is lactose intolerant anyway. The others just don't like milk. Don't really like cheese either. Ate a little yoghurt.

I'm the same yet bone density tests show I have very dense bones and a recent scan of my shoulder showed my late 50 shoulders are unusually unworn. The doctor actually said 'you don't see shoulders this young in people your age'

Some cultures eat very little dairy. The calcium is from other sources.
