Hi I was advised by HV to give my baby multivitamin due to her drinking less than 500ml a day and I got her some abidec multivitamin, but when I was reading up on it it says only give when baby drinks less than 500ml a day to make sure they get a safe amount of vitamin A this is the part that worries me and makes me unsure because she eats a lot of solid food and when I googled which foods contain vitamin A they were the same ones she eats everyday and j don’t want her to get an unsafe amount go vitamin A I don’t know what to do

If you Google NHS vitamins for children it explains regardless of what they eat, the advice is if they are having less than 500mls of formula then to give vitamins A,C and D and this should be continued until age 5

It's A, C and D you are supplementing. D is hard to get through food alone especially at this time of year when you cant get it from the sun. Formula is already supplemented so when they take less you give a supplement to top them up.

Sounds like you've nailed weaning! Well done! Yes start with the multivitamins as the HV said to, as PP said they should take them until they're 5 x
