Combi feeding - formula change?

I have a 6 week old - I’m breastfeeding but he has one cow and gate formula bottle each evening before bed. He isn’t constipated as manages to poo but just struggling with his stomach & wind. Is it worth trying to change the formula or is it simply his age and learning to digest it?

does he need to have the bottle of formula before bed? could you perhaps try a bottle of breast milk? see if that helps at all maybe!
although saying that, my baby is EBF and can struggle with wind in the early morning sometimes, so possibly just one of them things when they're young!

I can’t ever express enough for a bottle, I also have a 3.5 year old so no spare time to express. He’s so agitated with his stomach , but yet he poos absolutely fine !

Someone told me aptimil ins most like breastmilk (thinner). I have a three week old who is Combi feeding no problem. I’m also using the Hakka to get my let down getting 2-4 oz per day

@Tryingtohelp12 Yes I used aptamil with my daughter - I have a Hakka but I get next to nothing out, same with my daughter. I don’t want to give up the bottle as I love that he takes it and gives me relief knowing he will. I feel at my wits end with it, not knowing how to help him

I agree nothing wrong with giving formula or using a bottle of it works for your family.!

im only thinking the Hakka /expressed breastmilk for a few days to figure out if it’s the formula is bothering his tummy?
