Colic/reflux?

Hi everyone, DD is nearly 8 weeks old and her feeding is all over the place. She’s always been full of wind and has reflux symptoms including vomitting etc and I’ve been to the doctors and seem to be getting no where. They prescribed gaviscon after practically begging but it really upset DD’s stomach. So following that I left the gaviscon and just tried again with her usual milk to see if there was any difference. Her vomitting has stopped, she only spits up a bit now here and there. But her symptoms still are:

  • full of wind
  • arching back and bringing legs up
  • some feeds takes 4oz, some will only take 1oz, and even after winding etc still refuses the bottle and screams
  • gets really unsettled on a evening (this is when she seems to refuse bottles) and cries from Around 7pm-11pm. The only thing that settles her on an evening is being held and even that only calms her for a few minutes.
  • Hiccuping after most feeds
  • coughing during feeds
  • i think she also gets stomach ache

does this sound like the usual colic/ reflux? I’ve tried comfort milk, infacol and coleif but it didn’t really make much of a difference. Are there any suggestions?

Did you ever find a solution to this OP? I could be writing this about my DD- exactly the same, she’s even 8 weeks. Totally at the end of my tether. So if there’s any wisdom you could share, it would be greatly appreciated!!
