Looking for reassurance. My LO is 5months old and in the last week I’ve noticed a change in his toilet habits, one day he can go once or not at all the next he goes 3/4 times. Thursday morning from 4am he started grunting and straining really loud, every nappy I changed Thursday there was a skid mark as if he was trying to go & eventually last night he had diarrhoea, he cried most of the day. Same time yesterday morning & this morning he was doing the exact same & crying in and out of sleep until I fed him at 8 & he’s had diarrhoea. He’s currently been put back on colief, he was checked for CMPA months ago but it was ruled out. He’s also been teething so we started using anbesol a few days ago as nothing seems to help soothe him. This video was yesterday & he grunted like this on & off all day until he eventually had diarrhoea last night. Is this just signs of teething or should I be worried? He did go through a phase of this many months ago but I can’t remember the reason for it at the time. Just want him to be comfortable he’s absolutely miserable at the moment 😞 I do have a video of the grunting but won’t let me post it
