Might be a long post but need help!

My nipple/ breast is sooo sore, it feels like glass - I can’t have anything touch it, not even clothes. My baby bit me while feeding and now have a white patch on my nipple (the milk duct behind has milk there now)- I can’t let her latch it’s so painful so have been pumping BUT it’s not removing the milk behind the blister. There is so much milk that’s made half of the breast tissue hard I’m worried I’ll get mastitis.

Ive tried pumping it out, warm showers and hand expressing, Epsom salt soaks and warm flannels but nothing is helping. How do I get the milk out?! It’s been there for 24 hours now.

I saw a consultant last week as my nipple and breast was hurting she said it may be thrush, but then it was better after Epsom soaks and using sheilds and there was no milk build up in the breast but since my baby bit me yesterday, I haven’t been able to remove the milk

Any advice?

They're called milk blebs. I remember having them in the early months of breastfeeding. I sterilised a needle and popped it and got instant relief but not sure that's the best advice 😁 Have a Google of them, there's lots of things you can do at home that may help.

Thanks, I’ve had one before but it was much smaller, like a dot, and went away after a few Epsom salts soaks and massages. This time my milk is stuck behind and not removing!
